Hotel was super nice! Parking easy, safe and free! Room was comfortable and recently updated! Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful! I feel Like old Reno charm and style is alive at Silver Legacy! We walked outside to local restaurants, bars and shops! But we also ate inside the casino too! Can’t wait to return for another weekend. Reno Not too far from Lake Tahoe is Reno, Nevada’s second-largest gambling city. Nevada has begun phase one of reopening, which includes restaurants, many of which are inside casinos. The Sundowner is a former hotel and casino located in downtown Reno, Nevada. The Sundowner’s 11-story hotel opened in May 1975, and the casino opened two months later. With 349 rooms, it was the largest hotel in Reno until the opening of the MGM Grand in 1978. Great casino!!!! Great for sports betting and food! Great food for cheap nice employees and excellent service. I try to go often since it’s one of the last locally owned casinos in town.

Out of the way place but worth driving to. Very quiet atmosphere and spacious dining area. GREAT food, friendly and efficient wait staff and fabulous prices. Wish I lived in Reno.

Really great place to spend your time! It has a nice laid back atmosphere, and a really great cafe. The slot machine selection is really great, and table games are really nice for a casino of this size. Definitely a good place to kick back and spend your time!
